Modern Australian Design – Family Dream Home, Iluka | NEO INTERIOR DESIGN

This Modern Australian interior design was inspired by the surrounding nature colours in the area. Our interior design brief was to help this young thriving family create a beautiful home with functional design, where they could use the spaces daily for their everyday lifestyle and rent out the space for photoshoots.

In this living space (pictured), we made the micro-cement fireplace feature wall the focal point of the room and built the sofa and soft furnishings around it. By adding native artworks we brought in the Australian vibe, plus it had our clients’ favourite colours.

We also wanted to contrast all the materials with the 12 elements of design, using a combination of leather, fabric, wool, timber, glass, fire, water, metal, greenery, ceramic and greenery.

Minimalist natural styling with an Australian flavour gives this family home a timeless design.
