Our Attadale renovation showcases how thoughtful, strategic design can completely elevate a home. When our clients approached us, they had recently undergone a builder-led renovation that left them unhappy with the colours, finishes, and overall feel. They loved their home, but it didn’t yet reflect their style or meet their needs.
We began by establishing a clear design direction and cohesive palette, then reworked the key spaces to feel warmer, more functional, and beautifully resolved. One of the smartest transformations was relocating the original drop zone from under the staircase to an unused corner near the entry. This simple shift instantly made everyday living more convenient and allowed us to open up the staircase with a full redesign and statement wallpaper.
Throughout the living and dining areas, we introduced engineered oak flooring in a timeless herringbone pattern, resurfaced the double-sided fireplace, added VJ panelling, refined lighting, and updated window treatments. These changes brought depth, softness, and a welcoming warmth that the home was missing. The dining space, in particular, now feels balanced and inviting with repositioned lighting, a rounded table, and sculptural tan chairs.
The master bedroom also received a complete refresh with new panelling, custom furniture, updated lighting, and soft carpets creating a calm, layered retreat. In the kitchen, we refined the fixtures and finishes, added overhead cabinetry, installed Velux skylights, and redesigned the island with an integrated bench seat for improved functionality.
Across the entire home, every decision was made to improve how the spaces look and how they work. The result is a home that feels intentional, warm, and truly reflective of the family who lives in it.
The client was so thrilled with the transformation and has already expressed their excitement to work with Neo again on their new build.
